La nueva Casa Manresa de Retiros y Ejercicios Espirituales, cuenta con 30 habitaciones (con vista al mar), equipadas con un baño y estudio. Tiene una capilla / aula de conferencias para 60 personas, además de un apacible claustro / jardín y servicios de comida para los ejercitantes. |

It was built on more than 3 acres of prime land owned by the University, at a total cost of over $1.4 million dollars. The Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius of Loyola have been one of the most efficient tools for spiritual growth that the Jesuits have been offering the Church for more than 400 years. |

Y…una de las necesidades más palpables de la Iglesia en Tijuana. En la actualidad, no existe una Casa de Ejercicios en toda la Diócesis. Con su apoyo, los jesuitas que laboramos en la Universidad Iberoamericana de Tijuana, hemos construido esta Casa de Retiros y Ejercicios Espirituales, para atender esta necesidad. La espiritualidad es la forma de vivir nuestro cristianismo a través de lo que vemos en el Evangelio. Basado en ello, San Ignacio de Loyola legó a los miembros de la Compañía de Jesús el instrumento adecuado para transmitir su muy particular forma de percibir la palabra de Dios. San Ignacio había querido seguir a Dios como un ermitaño, pero comprendió durante su experiencia mística en Manresa, que debía consagrar su vida a ayudar, por todos los medios, a la salvación de las almas. Nosotros, los jesuitas en Baja California, queremos darle seguimiento a la misión de nuestro Fundador, brindando un espacio adecuado para la superación personal por medio de los retiros y Ejercicios Espirituales, con dinámicas al servicio de la fe y la promoción de la justicia en esta región, bajo el lema ignaciano: |

With your support, the Jesuits working at the Iberoamericana University, will continue to make this project become a reality through hard work and the guarantee of a long-time commitment to your spiritual growth. Spirituality could be defined as a way to live our Christianity through what the Lord tells us in the Gospel. Based on the same Gospel, Saint Ignatius of Loyola left as a legacy to all Jesuits a precise tool to transmit his very peculiar way to understand the Word and will of God. Saint Ignatius would have preferred to follow Christ as a hermit, but after his profound experience in Manresa, he decided to commit his life entirely, and by all means, to the salvation of all souls. We, the Jesuits in Baja California, want to follow the inspiration of our Founder from over four hundred years ago, offering a modern, yet austere space, for your personal betterment through retreats and the Spiritual Exercises: with dynamics based on our faith, promoting justice in this region of the world, under the Jesuit motto: |
